J. Storton - 2003 Honda Accord EX-L
I had been looking at a particular car online . When I got to the lot, I wandered around a little bit then went to that Honda Accord to check it out. Nobody ever came running out of the building to say, "Hey, how 'bout this one, how 'bout that one...We got a great deal over here...." Nope. They just left me alone and it felt good. As I was walking to the building, Jesse stepped out...key in hand! I rate "friendliness" 4 points instead of 5. I think 4 is better in this situation than 5. I would have rated it 3, but 3 would not look good for my intent. A 5 (GREAT friendliness) is NOT what I want from a car salesman, ya know? I don't trust a 5. A 5 is a pest....You get the picture. No phoney 5s at Champion. No stupid haggling games either. You want the car? Here's the price. The car I bought is in GREAT condition and I bought it for less than Blue Book value. I paid them earnest money for them to hold the car until I come back to pay cash for the balance. After I paid them, after I had the receipt in my hand, I popped out with, "Oh, by the way: There's a few things bugging me. A dome light's burned out, there's no spare in the trunk, a door lock ain't quite right, I don't like the security lugs and there's an open recall on this car." They fixed it all without flinching.
